The Friends of Juniper Hill school is a group of parents & teachers of the school who meet on a regular basis to arrange social events and fund raising activities for pupils and their families.

Our fund raising ideas are a wide range of events which include, Hotdog lunches for the children, School Ball for the parents, Art & Craft weekend, Summer Fayre, Ladies Indulgence day and many more.

Each year, with the help of our parents, grandparents and local community we successfully raise money to buy items that are on the schools wish list; These may be small items for classes or larger items that we would raise money over several years to purchase

Items bought include :-

• The adventure playground.
• New chairs for the school hall
• Games for the playground
• Storage for the maths area by Years 3 & 4
• Annual funding of the Year 5 & 6 school trips
• £150 annually given to each classroom to spend on classroom items
• The furnishing of the new year 2 classroom
• 2000 new home readers

and many many more things for our children to enjoy.

This year our focus is to have a new outside classroom for the children to enjoy the aspects of learning outside in a comfortable environment.

New members of Friends are always welcome, if you can spare a few hours once a month for a meeting and would be interested in helping at the events, we would love you to join us. If you are interested in becoming a 'friend' then please contact a member of Friends or put a note into our Friends box outside the 2 reception classes.
